Our Approach to Eating Disorder Therapy

Here at Graceful Healing, we believe in taking an Intuitive Eating and Health At Every Size (HAES) approach to help with body image concerns and disordered eating. We believe that to find true food freedom, we have to let go of the moral value attached to food. Society will often tell us that certain foods are “good” or “bad”. Deconstructing and letting go of this belief has helped many to find true freedom with their food.

We also take a HAES approach to help our clients find body neutrality and liberation from diet culture. We believe that our bodies are instruments to help us fulfill our individual purpose. When we treat our bodies as objects and constantly focus on the way that we look and how that defines us, it stops us from truly living a fulfilled life.

If you are ready to take the step to find freedom with food and liberate yourself from diet culture, reach out to one our amazing therapists today. We are ready to meet you!
