    Our therapists are compassionate and care deeply about the health of our clients. Many of us here at Graceful Healing have our own experience with anxiety and perfectionism and understand what it’s like to live life with a voice that is constantly correcting and criticizing you.     We use evidence-based treatment to help our clients cope and manage their anxiety and perfectionism. This can include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement and desensitization (EMDR), internal family systems (IFS), and much more. Most importantly, each therapist will tailor their approach and treatment to your needs and involve you in the decision making!

What is Perfectionism?

Perfectionism often feels like an endless list of tasks you are trying to accomplish, while also attempting to meet unrealistic expectations in the completion of these tasks. This typically means that you will fail — the most horrific thing someone who struggles with perfectionism can imagine!

  • Here at Graceful Healing, we can work with and treat any level of anxiety, from mild to extreme. If you are feeling overwhelmed by your anxiety and/or perfectionism, this is a good sign that therapy is the next step for you.

  • Common symptoms of anxiety can include, but are not limited to:

    • racing thoughts

    • fear of failure

    • panic or anxiety attacks

    • headaches

    • gastrointestinal issues

    • exhaustion and fatigue

    • trouble sleeping

    • feeling nervous, restless and tense

  • Although medication can be a wonderful tool to help deal with anxiety, it is not necessarily a requirement to treat anxiety. Our team of therapists will collaborate with you to develop a plan according to your needs and beliefs in regards to medication.
