Brooklynn Zaugg, CSW

Hi, I’m Brooklynn!

Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, perfectionism, or relationship struggles, I’m here to support you. My role isn’t to "fix" you, because I don’t believe you’re broken. Instead, I’m here to guide you - to create a space where you can process what’s happening in your world, feel seen and heard, and start to discover more about who you truly are. Where I specialize in teens and young adults, my ideal client is anyone who is looking for a guide as they navigate their own life’s challenges. Whether you’re trying to find your voice, manage stress, or make sense of who you are and what you want, I’m here to support you through it. You don’t need to have all the answers (or even the questions), that’s okay! Therapy can be the space where you pause, reflect, and start to explore what healing and growth might look like for you.
My approach to therapy is collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not a lecture. I want you to feel safe, accepted, and empowered in our work together. I’m here to hold space for the hard stuff, and also to help you reconnect with your strengths, your voice, and your sense of self. I use a variety of modalities such as Strengths-Based and Solution Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Parts Work, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also am fluent in Spanish and am happy to do therapy in Spanish to allow any Spanish speaking clients to express themselves fully.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m just a real person who believes in connection, humor, honesty, and resilience. I love traveling and trying new things, but I’m also a home body who loves a good tv show. I know how important it is to feel like your therapist gets you - not just the problems you're dealing with, but you as a person. That’s something I prioritize in every session. In our work together, I’ll meet you wherever you are. My goal is to help you find healing, but also to help you grow into a more authentic, empowered version of yourself. If you’re looking for a safe place to figure things out, feel supported, and explore who you are, I’d love to meet you. It takes courage to show up for yourself, especially when things feel overwhelming. If you’re here, reading this, you’ve already taken a brave first step!
