I believe that each person has a unique story and experience to share, and I want to hear it! I am passionate about working with and empowering individuals to become their best selves, starting where they are at now. My approach to therapy is rooted in meeting individuals with understanding and sensitivity, partnering together to work towards their goals, utilizing a strengths-based approach and compassion-focused therapeutic interventions.
I have extensive experience working with adults and teenagers facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, disordered eating, body image issues, and limiting core beliefs. Additionally, I am well-versed in addressing executive functioning issues, self- esteem concerns, and addiction. I recognize and acknowledge the emotional and invisible labor often carried by women and seek to provide a place of unburdening for challenges related to these loads.
My therapeutic approach is humanistic and holistic, providing a safe, empathetic space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, experiences, and personal wants and needs. I believe each person’s therapeutic journey is distinctive and personal. My philosophy emphasizes that direction is more important than speed; I aim to work with you at your pace and with your priorities in mind, respecting your ability to intuitively apply self-determination.
In my practice, I integrate evidence-based research and techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am also trauma-focused CBT certified (TF-CBT) and have a background in biofeedback and neurofeedback mechanics, incorporating intentional mind-body tools and assets alongside other modalities. With an educational background in sociological studies, I take a systems and ecological approach to my work with clients.
