Megan Martin, CMHC-Intern
Hi, I’m Megan!
I’m really glad you’re here. Starting therapy can feel like a big step. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that no longer fit, or tired of carrying parts of yourself alone, you don’t have to navigate that by yourself. I believe people aren’t problems to be fixed, but whole humans responding in understandable ways to what they’ve lived through. Therapy can be a space where you begin to make sense of those experiences, reconnect with yourself, and move toward meaningful change. Many of the people I work with appear to be holding everything together on the outside while feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected internally. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and the lasting impact of trauma, including sexual or relational trauma. I also work with clients exploring faith transitions, identity, gender and sexuality, and major life or body changes — including shifts in body image, one’s relationship with food, or experiences such as bariatric surgery. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and integrative, with attention to how our experiences live not only in our thoughts but also in our bodies. Prior training in breath work and other somatic practices has shaped my understanding of how stress and emotion can be carried physically, which informs the way I think about healing and regulation. In our work together, we move at a pace that feels right for you. You decide what to share and how this process unfolds. There’s no pressure here. If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. I would be honored to support you as you move toward healing, self-understanding, and a life that feels more aligned with who you are.Fees & Scheduling Information
